CREATING JOBS IN PORTUGAL

You may qualify for the Golden Residence Permit if you create more than 10 jobs, by starting a new company.

Your investment must stay in place for a minimum period of 5 years.

SUMMARY OF LEGAL REQUIREMENTS

• Purchasing a property €500,000.00
  GB £428,591.00 or more.
• Completed the sale after 8th October 2012.
• The purchase must be completed before application of golden residence.
• The property purchased must be debt free.
• Must be present in Portugal for minimum of 7 days in the first year and 14 days in the next 2 years.
• Application for golden residence permit, must take place within 90 days of arrival into Portugal.
• The Golden Residence permit will be granted for 1 year initially and then for 2 year periods.
• After 5 years you can apply for permanent residence and nationality after a total of 6 years.

• Travel documents and full medical insurance.
• Documents of recently purchased property, or investments.
• Proof of adequate income and address.
