All around the cottage you will find beautiful mountains and just a few minutes away you have the stunning river beach called Fragas de Sao Simao. It is a 10 minute drive to either Figueiró dos Vinhos or Avelar, both towns offer supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, schools, doctor and hospital, and weekly fruit and vegetable markets.
Lisbon and Porto are around 1 ½ drive away and Coimbra, Portugal's third biggest city is a 30 minute drive away, to reach the seaside will take you around 35 minutes.
