There are river beaches within 10 minutes drive of the property, ideal on those hot sunny days, good for swimming usually with cafe bars.

 

The city of Coimbra is just a 20 minute drive boasting lots of history, with shopping malls, and pretty river beaches, as well as the University Hospital, it is also Portugal's third largest city.
